Aysegul Aydın
Born in Germany in 1975, lives between Istanbul and Venice. A transdisciplinary artist and environmental engineer, she expresses herself through photography, performance, sculpture, and painting. She has participated in numerous workshops in Italy, Germany, and Turkey. Her research articulates itself through various media, both conceptual and material, in relation to space, time, and essence. Her most recent works are in texts, audiovisual and sound art. She creates her artworks in a minimalist manierism through re-de-construction of temporal existence according to mathematical principles, transforming ideas into universal identities. The main significance of her work lies in its conceptuality, characterized by density and a paradoxical approach. "What you see consists only of what you cannot see."
